Supported Housing Strategic Plan
Kāinga Ora has developed a Supported Housing Strategic Plan, which provides our people with strategic direction as we grow and evolve our provision of Transitional Housing and Community Group Housing for people and whānau in need.
It outlines the role Kāinga Ora plays in the provision of publicly funded housing where the co-ordination of housing and other support services is essential to the wellbeing of the customer.
Working alongside other Kāinga Ora allied plans and strategies, the Supported Housing Strategic Plan provides a Strategic Framework to guide Kāinga Ora’s Supported Housing activity towards an ideal future state. It sets out how we will partner with Funders and Providers to manage and respond to demand for Supported Housing assets. It charts a course to improve levels of service.
