Kāinga Ora has a large number of sites where we have old homes sitting on under-utilised large sections. Our intention is to better utilise these sections by building a greater variety of new, warm, dry homes, designed to complement the local environment and meet the needs of today’s tenants.

This redevelopment will see 51 old homes replaced with 68 new homes. These homes will have a mix of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms and will include terraced, standalone and duplex houses. The proposed redevelopment also includes a new road to provide access to the homes and connects Bolton Street to Marlowe Road and a communal open space.
